Use of cookies

The relative simplicity of this website enables it to use no cookies on client browsers and for customers. No data about your browser, identity, or company is collected using cookies, at all.

Collection of data from customers

Only after becoming a customer - by submitting a project request - or by sending us a message, is data then collected. This data includes any information submitted by the customer (namely, everything that is included in forms submitted by the customer) as well as records of the customer's IP address and all communications with the customer, including message content, email headers, and timestamps (for the purpose of minimizing our own liability). This data is stored on our secure servers, but never, under any circumstances, marketed or given to any third-party, unless required by law. Nor will it be used to directly advertise or promote anything to the customer.

Communication with customers

All communication with customers will be done through email. The customer will be in communication with both the lead auditor, as well as the individual penetration tester who is assigned to his specific project. If the customer loses access to his original email and wants to discuss a previous project that was ordered using his previous, now-out-of-service email address, the customer will be required to verify his identity before any such discussions will happen, in order to prevent the possibility of someone acquiring sensitive information by impersonating the customer. The customer may verify his information by providing information that only he and VyperLabs will know about the project, including: the start and end dates of the project, the name of the assigned penetration tester, technical details about the project such as what tests were performed and which were omitted, e.t.c. For this reason, it is recommended that the customer does not divulge such information to any unauthorized party, lest this party uses the information to later impersonate the customer. The customer will be required to provide a reasonable degree of information about his previous project in order to ascertain his legitimacy.
